This editorial shot by photographer Paul Empson chooses the scarce looking desert as a backdrop with model Kendra Spears for Mixte, a french magazine about to close its doors. Im not too keen about the ensembles, but I love the individual pieces. Very earthy and indie, perfect for the desert. I do live in this boring place, but the sunsets are quite lovely. John Haro made a funny quote about this post on his own blog:
"The small ones will go first, followed by the big ones; as the internet will continue to suffocate the magazines in the next few years.Can you imagine the day when Vogue no longer is? Scary and exciting. It'll be a new frontier!"
He made me laugh; it is quite true.
